MAURICEVILLE

EUCHRE TOURNEY (“Times-Age” Special.) A euchre tourney was held in the Mauriceville Hall on Saturday night in aid of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union Refugee Fund. There was a good attendance and a very enjoyable time was spent. The prizes were won as follows: — Ladies: Mrs F. Pain and Mrs R. Palmer. Men: Mr F. Pain and Mr E. Cheetham. Consolation, Miss E. Heckler and Mr I. Larsen. The drawing in connection with the camphor box competition will take place at a future date and the results will be published. Personal. Mr and Mrs F. Pain have returned to Mauriceville after a holiday spent at Wanganui. Mrs J. Duncan. Parkville, was a recent visitor to Mauriceville.
