SECRET SESSION
IN HOUSE OF COMMONS. FOREIGN AFFAIRS DEBATE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. July 25. Answering objection following an announcement that a secret session of the House of Commons would be held on Tuesday to debate foreign affairs, the Lord Privy Seal, Mr Attlee, stated that: the decision was taken because of a majority of the House seemed in favour so that members might state their case very fully and the Government might make the fullest possible reply. The Minister of Economic Warfare. Mr Cross, will on the same day make an important statement on Britain’s blocktide.
