WATERLOO CUP MEETING OPENED AT OAMARU. THE CLIPPER WINS TWO ROUNDS. The Waterloo Cup Coursing Meeting opened at Oamaru yesterday. Thirty-seven nominations were received. including nine dogs from the North Island. These are: Messrs James and Taylor (Masterton), Dainty Footsteps and The Clipper; P. H. Donoghue (Wellington), Rea Chief; Riding and Jackson (Wanganui), Maungi Taupo and Mosquito Kid; F. Woodhill (Napier). Bon Ton and Betty Micawber (these two dogs divided the Centennial Cup last month at Hastings), and J, Hanan (Matieri), Matieri's Footsteps and Matieri's Pride.

Yesterday The Clipper Avon two rounds in the Cup, the final of which will be decided tomorrow.
