NEW U=BOATS
SAID TO RUN SILENTLY. GERMAN RADIO CLAIM. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copy right I (Received This Dav. 10.40 a.m.) BERLIN, July 25. The official radio stated that Germany was using a new small type of U-boat, one of which sank a steamer in the Channel. The U-boats are fitted with silencing apparatus, rendering detection of propeller noise impossible.
