THOUSAND ATTACKS
MADE BY THE ROYAL AIR FORCE DURING LAST THREE MONTHS. CRIPPLING ELOWS STRUCK AT ENEMY. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, July 25. The R.A.F. has bombed Germany ami German-occu-pied territories more limn a thousand times in ihe last three, months, not in isolated raids but in large-scale operations which have been carried out day and night. Five hundred and seventeen thrusts have been directed at the main military and industrial centres in one month. The attacks on the air bases in Belgium, Holland, France and Germany have made it extremely difficult for Germany to organise massed attacks on Britain, and tremendous havoc has been created among the oil refineries, munition works, dockyards, aeroplane factories, and power plants, and some have been rendered practically useless. A total of 66 air raids have been made on the German navy since the war began.
