SEARCH FOR OIL
MORERE BORE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GISBORNE, July 24. The New Zealand Petroleum Company reports that the Morere oil bore has reached a depth of 3775 feet. The formation is unchanged. At Midhurst drilling has been suspended owing to the sticking of the reaming bit in the hole. Clearing operations are proceeding.
