DR BENES ON FIGHT FOR NEW WORLD. IMPORTANCE OF BRITISH I RECOGNITION. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 24. In a broadcast address in Czech fiom London tonight the national leader, Dr Benes told Czechoslovaks that they are bound to ho one by the pledges which they have been compelled to give to the Nazis. “You are not the subject of. any Fuehrer or protector,” he said. "You are not the subject of any legal system decreed by the Nazis. You aie not bound by any promises, pledges or oaths which have been forced upon you We are dealing with a great struggle, at the end of which we shall have a new world, a new Europe, and our new republic. For this new world we are fighting.” The first great step toward that victory, said Dr Benes, was the recognition of his Government on British territory and the existence of the Czech Army, which was preparing in England to carry on the fight.
