ARRESTED BY NAZIS
BRITISH AMBASSADOR TO BELGIUM. NEGOTIATIONS FOR RELEASE. (British Ofliicial Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.25 a.m.) RUGBY. July 24. Asked in the House of Commons about the British Ambassador to Brussels (Sir L. Oliphant) who was arrested fay the Germans, Mr R. A. Butler (Un-der-Secretary for Foreign Affairs) said negotiations were in progress for Sir L. Oliphant's release, but he could not ray for how long they might, continue.
