DISPUTE IN COUNTRY PARTY OVER EXTENSION OF LIFE OF PARLIAMENT. REPORTED CABINET ACTION. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Dav, 12.50 p.m.) SYDNEY. This Day. The “Herald’s” Melbourne correspondent says a clash has deevloped in the Federal Cabinet which may lead to an open rupture between the Leader of the Country Party (Mr Cameron) and several of his party. It is said that in the event of a proposal to extend the life of Parliament, Mr Cameron would resign his leadership and resign from the Ministry. The dispute led to a revelation that Cabinet decided some weeks ago that it should seek power to extend the life of Parliament, so that it could be used in the event of a sudden emergency.
