GALLANT EFFORT
TRAWLER BRINGS DOWN AIRCRAFT. i ACTION OFF BRITISH SOUTH COAST. (British Oftiicial Wireless.) (Received This Day. 10.20 a.m.) RUGBY. July 19. An Admiralty communique states:— "His Majesty’s mine-sweeping trawler Rinobia was attacked off the South Coast yesterday by enemy aircraft, which machine-gunned the trawler. One aircraft was brought down by the Rinobia’s gunfire and crashed in the sea and sank immediately. In this action the Rinobia suffered three casualties.”
