The Minister for Defence Measures, Mr Frank Aiken, said that during the past six weeks 120,000 men had volunteered, 25,000 within the past week. Everyone must realise that his district might become the scene of military operations at any time. They should not hamper the army, co-operate with enemy or be misled by enemy radio propaganda.
