“LEGION'OF LOST FLYERS.” The final screening of this thriller of the air takes place this evening. “CAFE SOCIETY.” “Cafe Society,” 19.39's version of the “Four Hundred," will open tomorrow at the Cosy Theatre, with Madeleine Carroll. Fred Mac Murray and Shirley Ross in starring roles. Taking Manhattan’s most glittering circles as its background, “Cafe Society” tells e story of a beautiful but bored society girl's romance with a reporter who shows her how the rest of the world fights its battles. In the supporting cast are Claude Gillingwater. Jessie Ralph. Allyn Joslyn and, making his motion picture debut. Lucius Beebe, famed Manhattan bon vivant and boulevardier. For an hour's real enjoyment, an hour that will make you forget your troubles, drop in to the Cosy Theatre tomorrow, and see the latest RepublicHiggins Family comedy, “The Covered Trailer," starring James, Lucile and Russo! Gleason. Here is one of the most humorous films to grace the silver screen. The fun is clean and swift What happens to the Higgins might hapnon to any family. The film opens as the H'gginses are about to embark on a cruise to South America. The' have been feted right, and left by townspeople. Then Lil tells the insurance man. who has come to pay over the annuity that is to take them on the trip, that Joo is only 44 instead of 45. Thus the money is stopped, and so is the cruise. Too ashamed to tell their friends the truth, the whole family hide in Sid's trailer and accompany him on a fishing trip. Then the ship on which they are supposed to be passengers sinks, and the Higginses are mourned as dead. Imagine the hilarity that follows. Jimmy, Lucile and Russel Gleason play Joe. Lil and Sid. and Harry Davenport is again cast as Grandpa, while Tommy Ryan portrays Tommy Higgins. Others in the cast include Maude Eburne, Mary Beth j Hughes and Maurice Murphy.
