Mr Tani, last evening, said, it was Mr Churchill’s intention to "procrastinate as long as possible in making the British final reply pending consolidation of the Hong Kong and Singapore defences and efforts to secure United States and Russian aid, after which he will reject the Burma protest.” ACTIONS TO SOUTH FAVOURED BY CABINET ADVISERS (Received This Day, 9.10 a.m.) TOKIO, July 11. Cabinet advisers, after a lengthy session, are reported to have favoured strengthening foreign policy, through actions to the south.
