CZECHS IN BRITAIN
4 GROWING FORCE OF SOLDIERS & AIRMEN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. July 9. The information department of the Czechoslovakia National Committee in London has issued the following statement: — Czechoslovak soldiers and airmen have arrived in Britain after gallant fighting in France and an adventurous evacuation helped by the British Navy. The Czechoslovak soldiers and airmen are now in this country to help the Allied cause and take part in the defence of this island and thus contribute toward the liberation of their country, Czechoslovakia. “The soldiers and airmen, many of whom have behind them experience ol heavy fighting with the Germans, are eagerly awaiting to fight side by side with the British Army and the R.A.F. Czechoslovak military and air force camps arc going to be established and the present number of Czechoslovak soldiers will soon be increased by those waiting in this country to be called to the colours.”
