CURFEW ORDER

ALONG BRITISH SOUTH COAST. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) LONDON, July 10. A new order imposes a curfew between half an hour after sunset and half an hour before dawn for a quarter of a mile from the coast from Portslade to Battle. The order at present closes down cinemas, dances and restaurants at important resorts at 9 p.m. and the closing will become progressively earlier. Practically all the big hotels of Brighton and Hove are in the curfew area, and many are preparing to close down.
