SWEDISH POLICY
— ■> AGREEMENT WITH GERMANY DEFENDED. PROTEST LODGED BY BRITISH MINISTER. (By Telegraph—Pl-ess Association—Copyright) LONDON. July 9. The Swedish Press generally applauds the Swedish-German transport agreement of July 5 as a necessity. 'The Premier, Mr Hansson, declared that the Government was unable to disregard the fact that Germany partly or entirely occupied seven European countries and France had concluded an armistice. He hoped the Swedes would show their usual discipline. The British Minister at Stockholm has protested against the agreement.
