CZECHS IN BRITAIN

DISARMED BEFORE LEAVING FRANCE. EAGER TO CONTINUE FIGHT. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 8. The Czechoslovak Legion has arrived in Britain from France. Among them are a number of French aviators. The Czechs were disarmed by the French before being allowed to leave the country and have arrived with hardly any equipment. General Rudolf Viest, who is in command, said that their spirits are high and their morale is excellent. "The fact that they have come here proves that they are as eager as ever to continue the fight,” he added.
