FOR SUNDAY’S SUPPER
RAISIN FOOL. Wash, clean, and soak Jib. raisins overnight in J pint cold water. Next day boil or steam in the water in which they were soaked with the juice of 1 lemon. Cook until quite soft, then rub through a sieve. Make a boiled custard with 1 pint milk, loz. castor sugar. 2 eggs, and 1 dessertspoon custard powdfer. Allow custard to become cold, add vanilla to taste, then add prepared raisins. Place in small glasses, sprinkle lop with a little giated (nutmeg, and serve.
