TEA RATIONING
ANNOUNCED IN BRITAIN. TWO OUNCES PER HEAD PER WEEK. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, July 8. The Food Minister (Lord Woolton) announced that tea rationing begins on July 9. The allowance will be two ounces per person Weekly, which is roughly 25 per cent of the present consumption. Margarine rationing will begin a fortnight hence.
