RAIDS ON GIBRALTAR

REPORTED USE OF FRENCH PLANES. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) LONDON. July 6. The Madrid radio states that eight French planes yesterday raided Gibraltar and tried to bomb the British fleet. There were no casualties and no damage was done. A La Linca message says Gibraltar was twice raided yesterday. A plane bombed the commercial section, causing slip,lit damage but no casualties. The plane is reported to have been French. A Malta cable states that enemy planes twice raided Malta yesterday, dropping bombs in open fields.
