WORKERS’ MUTUAL BENEFIT. A general meeting of the shareholders of the No. 2 Workers’ Mutual Benefit Building Society was held last evening. Mr R. Krahagen. chairman, presided over a fail’ attendance of shareholders. In the No. 2 Society the sum of £BOO was ollered to shareholders by ballot. The successful shareholders were Mr W. Adams. Pahiatua, and Mr C. McCullough. Masterton. who were each declared entitled to an advance ol £4OO free of interest. The sum of £BOO was offered for sale by tender in the B group and the highest tender. £235 for £BOO. was accepted.
