Rain, 59 points. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 63 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. Weather forecast: South-easterly to southerly winds, mainly moderate to fresh but strong at times in some exposed positions about the Straits. Weather unsettled with further rain or drizzle, more especially in the east; cold temperatures.
