WELCOME ALLIES
EUROPEAN AIR FORCE UNITS IN BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 10.20 a.m.) RUGBY. July 3. Asked in the House of Commons, regarding the arrival in Britain of Czech. Polish, Norwegian, Dutch. Belgian and French air force units and the services they were in a position to render to the Allied cause, the Under-Se-cretary for Air. Captain 11. Balfour, said the Secretary for Air welcomed the presence in Britain of the personnel of the air forces of the countries referred to. Arrangements were being made to enable them to continue the gallant and effective service they already had given the Allied cause.
