PAHIATUA SALE. The Associated Auctioneers report as follows on their weekly Pahiatua sale: —A representative yarding of sheen and station cattle was offered to a moderate attendance of buyers. The sheep yarded comprised mainly wethers and hoggets, and a marked improvement in prices was noticeable. Quotations: Fat wethers 275, 26s 3d to 255; fat ewes, 17s 3d. four-tooth wethers (stores), good. 24s 7d. two-tooth wethers (store). 22s 3d to 20s 9d. wether hoggets (medium). 18s 7d. 18s to 17s 6d. small 14s. 13s to 12s 6d. Cattle: Hereford cows, fat. £8 10s. £7 ss. to £7; light, fat P.A. cows. £6 ss; fat bullocks, £ll 2s 6d; P.A. steers. £6 5s to £4 Ils; P.A. cows. £4 to ..£3 4s: weancr heifer calves. 355, 20-mrnths’ heifers. £3 16s.
