’GERMAN RAID RITAIN £S AND A SCHOOL DAMAGED. MILITARY CURFEW ORDER. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This- Day. 11 a.m.) ■LONDON. July 2. Five persons were killed when enemy raiders crossed the British coast in daylight for the second successive evening. A high explosive bomb fell in the poorer quarter of a town in north-east England. In addition to the five killed, many persons were injured, including several children. Houses and a school were badly damaged. The Military Commander in West Sussex has ordered a continuous curfew henceforth along the beaches from Brighton to Writhington. The order automatically prohibits all bathing.
