NEW ZEALANDER'S CAREER. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) LONDON. July 1. “The Times” announces the death of the New Zealander. J. St. B. Barclay. R.A.S.C.. who was killed in action. "No young man could have chosen a ni °* e pleasant and more useful life, it adds. Mr Barclay was educated at Cambridge and went to Bolivia searching foi Sacombya treasure when he was 22 years old. Then he entered journalism and enlisted in the naval intelligence al the outbreak of war. being aged 37. He then transferred to the R.A.S.C.. insisting on going abroad. He was killed a fortnight later.
