COMPANY RETURNS. Mossy Creek return last week was GOoz gold from 7441 yards in 130 hours. Rimu Flat, 1560 z from 24,605 yards in 134 hours. Gold Mining Co'., Ltd., reports s»>r the year ended March 31 that workfiwas carried on with the usual stoppages for adjustment, but, because of-the exceptionally severe winter, approximately three months’ working time was lost. Two paddocks, totalling about three-quarters of an acre and measuring 101,000 cubic yards, were worked, and a third was started. ’The gold won was 16240 z valued at £12,982. The profit after installing a new tailings conveyor at a cost of £l2OO, was £1595.

The Gillespie’s Beach dredge reports for the week ended June 29 a wash-up of 370 z from 16,397 cubic yards worked in 127 hours.
