About 36 live lizards <_-nt by various donors to the Canterbury Museum will probably form a special exhibit later in the year. The latest gift is from Mr J. D. Burnett, of Hawarden, of native nocturnal gecko with a double tail (double tails occasionally occur in types capable of regenerating tails when original tails are broken oil). A rare long-tailed gecko was also presented recently by a boy. T. A. Connor, of the West Coast. Most of the lizards were presented by Mr W. J. Gopperth. of Christchurch.
