It is understood there are about twelve French warships, including three large ones, stationed at Alexandria under the command of a viceadmiral, to whom the French community has telegraphed urging him to continue the fight with the British. antlallied campaign DEVELOPING IN SPAIN. The Madrid correspondent of “The Times” says hostile anonymous posters plastered over Madrid mark the beginning of a more serious anti-Allied campaign designed to convince the people that the time is opportune to grab British and French possessions and confiscate Allied financial and industrial enterprises in Spain. The posters draw attention to Oran and Gibraltar in plans for territorial expansion. GENERAL DE GAULLE BRITISH RECOGNITION. LEADER OF ALL FREE FRENCHMEN. (Received This Day, 10 a.m.) LONDON, June 28. It is officially announced that his Majesty’s Government recognises General de Gaulle as leader of all free Frenchmen, wherever they may be, who rally to him in support of the Allied cause.
