Makoi Injured. The jumper .Makoi has been on the easy list during the week because of one of his hind legs filling. The trouble has taken a little time to develop and is believed to bo the result of a knock he received while racing at the Great Northern meeting. Unless he recovers quickly Makoi may have to miss the trip to Trentham for the Wellington Racing Club's winter meeting next month.
