FORD COMPANY IN CANADA CO-OPERATING. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. OTTAWA, June 26. Mr Coldwell, in the House., of Commons, and Senator Black, in the Senate, demanded .that the Government take custody of the Ford Company’s industrial interests in Canada. Senator Black added that the Government should cancel purchases of cars and other equipment and forbid the sale of the Ford product throughout Canada. Mr Howe, Minister of Transport, replied that the Canadian company was co-operating beyond criticism. The Government had ample powers of compulsion against an industry producing war materials which was not functioning as energetically as possible.
