RAILWAY ACCIDENT
MAN KILLED IN SYDNEY. NINE OTHER PERSONS' INJURED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. SYDNEY, June 27. A railway accident occurred in the Newtown suburban goods yard today when one man was killed and four women, three men and two boys were injured, chiefly'with broken limbs and severe lacerations. The accident was caused when a goods truck door suddenly swung open, striking a passing electric train which was derailed. The electric train collided with and derailed another electric train travelling in the opposite direction. The man killed was William Hatch, aged 52, driver of one of the electric trains. Heavy damage was caused to both electric trains.
