VEGETABLE SCRAMBLE
A BREAKFAST DISH. Chop any left-over vegetable, and to each cup allow 1 beaten egg, 1 teaspoon finely-chopped parsley, pepper and salt, a dessertspoon butter, and 1 tablespoon milk. Melt butter in a pan, add other ingredients, and stir over gas until mixture is almost set. Pile on well-buttered toast, sprinkle with shedded and fried bacon, and serve piping hot.
