Mrs Dobbyn. of Woodville, is on a visit to Wairoa. Mrs C. Corbett, of Lower Hutt, has been on a visit to Masterton.
Mr and Mrs Muntell, Wellington, are staying at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Masterton.
Mrs J. Miller and Miss M. Miller, Stratford, are guests at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Masterton.
Mr and Mrs J. Don, who have been living in Wellington for some years, have returned to Masterton where they intend to reside.
Miss Ava Symons, who in private life was Mrs W. J. Prouse, of Wellington, died at Auckland yesterday after a fortnight's illness. She was a well known violinist.
Miss May McDonald, Napier, has been appointed adjudicator for the Manawatu area’s,. British Drama League festival to be held in Palmerston North early next month.
