Allen 69. E. Trotman 56. W. Trotman 69; badge winner, Miss T. Bennett. Taken for Production Purposes. As a means to increase production part of the Greytown Golf Course is tc be taken for agricultural purposes. This will mean that several of the golf holes will be shortened. Red Cross Sewing Branch. The Red Cross sewing branch at Battersea is now in full swing. The members meet regularly at the residence of Mrs J. Barr. Soldier Honoured. A very pleasant gathering was held at the Greytown Hotel on Tuesday evening when Mr and Mrs M. A Campbell gave a party in honour ol Private Rody Tully. During the evening his engagement to Miss Ivy Cook was announced. Mr Rody Tully was presented with a signet ring. Mr Tully expressed his thanks for the gift and the good wishes that had been extended to him. Patriotic Dance.. The Kia Tora Girls’ Club will hold its next Patriotic dance on July 1. '
