COUNCIL ANNUAL MEETING. DATES FOR CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNEY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Total registrations of 395 clubs and 19,810 members were reported in the annual report of the New Zealand Bowling Association, presented at the annual meeting of the Dominion Council today. The membership showed an increase of 711 during the year. The annual tournament was fixed for Christchurch, beginning on January 8 for singles. January 10 for the pairs, and January 13 for the rinks. It was decided to make a gift of £lOO Io the Red Cross and it is proposed to give the championship tournament profits for patriotic purposes.
