Prices of fruit and vegetables in the Wellington market this week are quoted as follows:— Chinese gooseberries,. 4s to 7s a case; passion fruit, 9s to 17s 6d a half case; tree tomatoes, Gs to Ils a half case. Tomatoes, hothouse, 15s to 22s a half case; grapefruit, N.Z.. 6s to 10s a bushel Potataes, 4s to Gd Gd a cwt; onions, Gs to 10s a cental bag; kumeras, 4s to 3s Gd a sugar bag. Cabbage. 2s Gd to 9s a sack; lettuce. Gs to 13s 3d a case; sprouts, 12s to 17s Jd a sugar bag; cauliflowers, 6s to 12s a sack; silver beet, 6d to Is 6d a case; spinach, 3s to 12s 9d a case. Marrows, Is to 2s 6d a case; pumpkins, 3s to 10s a sack. Carrots, 2s to 5s a case; swedes. 3s to 5s a case; parsnips, 3s to 5s 6d a case; beetroot. Is 6d to 3s a case; leeks. 3s Gd to 5s 3d a case; celery, 6s to 12s a ease; rhubarb, 8s to 18s a dozen bunches.
