SPANISH FRONTIER
CLOSED TO ORDINARY TRAFFIC. EVACUATION OF AMERICANS. (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) MADRID, June 25. The French-Spanish frontier has been closed against all except diplomats and persons holding visas for French Morocco. 1 Among those who crossed yesterday were twenty Amsterdam diamond merchants, with priceless gems. The American Embassy is trying to arrange for the evacuation of one thousand American citizens from St. Jean de Lux and Biarritz.
