WAR ON U-BOATS

SEVENTH ITALIAN CRAFT DESTROYED ADMIRALTY YACHT MINED. TWENTY OFFICERS & MEN MISSING. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 12.10 p.m.) RUGBY, June 24. The Admiralty announced this evening: “Yet another Italian U-boat has been destroyed by British Naval Forces east of Suez. This brings the total of Italian U-boats definitely known to have been disposed of to seven. Italy declared war on the tenth of this month.”

Another Admiralty communique announces that his Majesty’s yacht Campeador the Fifth has been sunk by an enemy. The commanding officer, three other 'officers and sixteen ratings are missing and it is feared that they have lost their lives.
