REFUSAL OF RECOGNITION ANTICIPATED. WASHINGTON, June 23. It is considered unlikely that the United States will recognise any French Government that is established under German domination. It is recalled that. President Roosevelt a week ago. in replying to the then Premier, I\L Rcynaud, asserted. “In accordance with the policy not to recognise the conquest of the territory acquired through military aggression, the United States will not consider as valid any attempts to infringe by force the independence and territorial integrity of France.”
