NAZI SHIPS BOMBED IN DUTCH PORT TWO VESSELS DESTROYED. WAREHOUSES & OIL DEPOT SET ON FIRE. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. LONDON, June 22. An Air Ministry communique states: “The Fleet Air Arm and the Coastal Command yesterday attacked Willemsoord, which is a Germanoccupied harbour in Holland, and dropped nearly five tons of heavy and incendiary bombs in one minute. Warehouses and an oil-storage depot were set on fire, naval storehouses blown up, and two enemy vessels sunk and one damaged. German machinegunners were machine-gunned by the British. One enemy fighter and one of our planes were shot down. A pilot who was following the leading aircraft described how he watched bombs fall on the larger of two ships. There was a terrific explosion and a large part of the ship’s side, was blown into the water. The bombs struck almost exactly amidships. This aircraft successfully bombed another ship. ’ __
