DRASTIC EMERGENCY POWERS. IN VIEW OF THREATENINGDANGER. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright DUBLIN. June 19. The Dail passed the Emergency Powers Bill, under which civilians in time of war can be tried by court-mar-tial for offences which arc shortly being defined. The Speaker said such grave powers were conferred only because Eire was threatened with great danger.
