AIRMEN IN EGYPT

MANY ITALIAN PLANES DESTROYED FIFTY DURING PAST WEEK. FIVE GREEK SHIPS MINED OR TORPEDOED. The R.A.F. in operations off the Egyptian coast has shot down three and possibly five Italian planes, Daventry reports. In all the Italians have lost 15 planes in 36 hours. In the first seven days of the war against Italy, the R.A.F. has destroyed more than 50 Italian planes without loss.

Thf Italians are sinking neutral ships. Five Greek ships have been either mined or torpedoed in the past two days.
