CABINET POST
PORTFOLIO FOR DR McMILLAN . LIKELY. NEW OFFICE FOR MR SEMPLE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. One new appointment to Cabinet and the establishment of a new portfolio are expected to be announced following a mooting of the Executive Council to be held today. The recommendation of caucus a fortnight ago that Dr McMillan (Dunedin West) should receive a Cabinet post is to be fulfilled today, when the appointment, cf the Minister of Public Works. Mr Semple, to an important new war portfolio is also likely to be announced.
