GESTURE FROM JAMAICA. By Telegraph-—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, June 11. The Minister of Aircraft Production. Lord Beaverbrook, announced that the “Daily Gleaner,” a newspaper in Jamaica, had sent him £20,000 to buy a bomber. The money had been diverted to the purchase of the biggest and best bomber so far produced. This aircraft had been named Jamaica. It was a gift of the first importance in a time of dire need.
