MR ROGERS’S DEATH
CRASH IN AIR FORCE PLANE MACHINE MEETS DISASTER IN ONTARIO. WHEN ATTEMPTING EMERGENCY LANDING. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 12.30 p.m.) MONTREAL, June 10. The Canadian Minister of Defence (Mr N. M. Rogers) whose death was reported in an earlier message, was flying in an Air Force plane to Toronto from Ottawa, after a luncheon speech. The machine crashed in flames near Newtonville, Ontario, when attempting an emergency landing.
