MANY ITALIANS SENT TO AFRICA. CLAIMS FOR POSSESSION OF MALTA. ROME, June 10. Thousands of the latest Italian recruits have left Rome and others of the main cities believedly for southern ports. It is reported that many are being drafted across the Mediterranean to Africa. Maltese action committees are being formed in the larger Italian towns, and the committees are arranging meetings at which Italian claims for possession of Malta will be emphasised.
