A meeting of the Masterton District Primary Production Council is to be held at the end of next week. Elsewhere in this issue is a list of prize-winners in the “Lucky Dog" Art Union, which was drawn at Wellington on June 7. A dance and card tournament will be held in St. Patrick’s Hall tomorrow night, at 8 o'clock, under the auspices of the Masterton Hibernian Society. Good prizes and supper will be provided, and the music for the dancing will be supplied by J. Barnes’s Rhythm Boys’ Band.
