Bach 4/3, R. J. Towns beat J. W. T. Jones 1 up. K. McFarlane beat F. R. Evans 5/4. C. A. Carrig beat J. Norrie 5/4, G. T. Wagg beat M. Syron 2/1, W. N. A. Hosking beat B. E. Burridge 2/1, R. B. McPherson beat J. Morris 2/1. The match between N. O. Jones and J. Corbishley was squared, necessitating another round. LADIES’ COMPETITIONS. A bogey competition was played on Saturday', the following being the best scores: —Miss W. Reed, 2 down; J£iss N. Smith, 4 down; Miss E. Kitchener, 4 down. Matches in connection with the Captain’s Trophy were completed at the weekend as follows: —Miss N. Smith beat Mrs W. Hendry 5/4, Miss Kitchener beat Miss Gillespie 6/5, Miss CaL well beat Miss Boyes 3/2, Miss Samson beat Mrs Hunn 5/4, Miss Johnson beat Miss Yates 5/4, Miss P. Madsen beat Miss Polson 4/2, Mrs Madsen won by default from Miss McFarlane. MASTERTON CLUB JAMESON CUP CONTEST. FOURBALL COMPETITION. The following is the result of the Jameson Cup competition:—G. M. Ross and H. H. Daniell. 6 up; J. Jameson and L. Connolly, 5 up; R. B. Cameron and J. Coom, 5 up; J. A. Card and J. Shearer. 4 up; G. Brown and L. Kibblewhite, 4 up; E. L. and H. J. Nitz, 3 up; H. During the weekend members of the Riverside Golf Club played a fourball bogey' competition, senior and junior players playing together. The best cards handed in were those of N. Hoar and M. Thornton. 5 up: J. Wakelin and G. Longworth, 5 up; C. Anderson and A. Bell, 4 up; and C. Walker and F. Pool, 4 up. . INTER=CLUB MATCH RIVERSIDE v. CARTERTON. RAIN INTERRUPTS PLAY. In a friendly golf match with Riverside yesterday Carterton lost two games, won one and halved three in the morning and the afternoon games were called off owing to the rain. Details are: Riverside players given first in every case: J. Thornton and N. Hoar beat A. George and H. Dudson: D. Costello and W. Palamontain all square with S. Moroney and G. Riggs: J. Wakelin and R. Wearne beat B. Whitburn and C. Larsen: F. Pool and M. Thornton beat R. Harrington and and J. Lawrence: F. Roff and A. Bell lost to B. Olsen and J. Gustofson.
