The Federal Treasurer has announced that the £20,000,000 war loan, which closes today, has been fully subscribed. More than half the war loan has been subscribed since Wednesday. A new Department of Munitions has been created, directly under the control of Mr Essington Lewis, who has been given unlimited powers to carry out any decision of the War Cabinet.
